I see on the www.goldminemag.com blog that Greg Hampton is pretty hyped about the new Guns & Roses record, should it ever really see the light of day. What does everyone else think? Will it be a dud or a stud?

No Slash. No Duff. No Izzy.Axl may have the name, but he’s not G n R. Axl is now perceived as just a weird guy who used to be a rock singer. No one will care.

I'm pretty leery of it, too, but who knows? Maybe there's a reason it's taken this long. Of course, that's usually a dead giveaway, too, that an album is going to be a disaster.

Hey all, figured I'd alert everybody to another Guns & Roses related blog on the site. I did an e-mail interview with author Mick Wall, who wrote a bio of Axl along with another GN'R book. He has some interesting things to say about 'Chinese Democracy,' Axl and Guns N' Roses. Enjoy!
